Baked Apple Goodness


4 cups of NH apples (peeled and sliced)

3/4 cup of sugar

1/4 cup of apple cider

1 tablespoon of flour or (Bob's Red Mill GF All-Purpose 1 to 1 Flour)

1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger

1/4 cup of Kate's butter

1/2 cup of walnuts or raisins (optional)

Vanilla ice cream



1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease a 1 quart baking dish.

3. Place sliced apples in the baking dish.

4. In a small bowl, mix sugar, cider, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

5. Pour mixture over the apples.

6. Dot with the butter.

7. Sprinkle with nuts or raisins.

8. Bake, uncovered, for 55 minutes or until apples are tender.

9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
